How we work :

We are Majorly work on the rich cultural heritage of Madhya Pradesh. “Heart of India”

We are creating designs based on the art culture & heritage of Madhya Pradesh.

We have rich tribal art like gond, Mandana, tattoo art of Bheels (godna), and

we have Block carvings of various world-famous monuments like sanchi, Khajuraho/ Mahakaal temples in  Madhya Pradesh.

We are taking motifs from various heritage monuments, tribal art,& natural habitat of Madhya Pradesh,

Our Philosophy–

Alankaran  means-” to beautify”!, and Alankaran Designs  works to embellish, to decorate, and to beautify our clients with the soft, rich, colorful yet comfortable hand-woven hand block printed fabrics. We take inspiration from our rich tradition and heritage for designing our motifs and provide exclusive designs to our valued customer. Alankaran also keeps itself aware of the latest trends coming in design.

We also create customized collections based on our customer’s requirements and their target group. We work with the accepted norms of seasons, presenting new fabric and product collections and  organic color schemes based on the clients market positioning and forecasts. We are  also creating  designs based on tribal paintings like gond, mandana, tattoo art of bheels (godna), and stone carvings of world famous khajuraho temple of Madhya Pradesh.

Vision

Social Upliftment of women is one of the Major focus  of Alankaran designs  since its earliest days. However, doing business with a focus on social outcomes invites many challenges.

It is often perceived as incompatible with a very competitive, price-conscious market. It’s necessary to not only develop world-class products and manufacture them, but also to successfully market them. But, if we can’t turn a profit doing this, we’re out of the game. At the same time, our women members can struggle to understand what “world class” and “international quality” mean. It’s a challenge we must face!

We must balance the skills and capacity of our women with the fashion needs of Europeans and Americans. This requires rigorous training and attention to how we engineer our product range. We also need to explore new markets. With strong support from our fair-trade partners in Europe and the United States, we have seen much success penetrating these markets.
